Park Rules

  • Nobody under age 12 can be admitted to the dog play area without an adult. They should remain in the waiting area during busier times.
  • No toileting in the park (obviously!) Owners should clean up after their pets. If they are an excited widdler or scenter, then please purchase a wrap from staff.
  • If your dog has not been in this type of social situation, please borrow a muzzle if you haven’t got one already. This is to prevent scuffles; staff can help if needed.
  • Don’t allow your dogs to bully or be bullied; watch for signs of stress.
  • Enter and exit with your pet leashed to avoid accidents.
  • No dog treats or food in the park area as the sight of food will make other dogs crowd around you and potentially start scuffles.
  • No boisterous play, as this can cause injury. In the event of your pet becoming overexcited, put them on a leash and take them outside for a few minutes.
  • Always watch and interact with your pets when you visit our indoor dog park in Glasgow; you are responsible for supervising your pet.

  • You have the option to attend the additional 7th week if there is 1 week missed by you,to ensure you complete the course and receive your certificate.

  • Ensure you dog comes to class without any aversive equipment such as prong collars, e-collars, choke collars etc, as we are a force free training class and do not promote the use of aversive techniques.  We advise a lead clipped to a collar or harness.  It is difficult to train on an externder lead so please come on a solid lead
  • Bring a variety of treats to keep your dogs attention through the class
  • Don’t feed a breakfast/dinner prior to training class, as the treats become less of an incentive to train.
